Hi Everyone this is Peter Tan from GPS Alliance.

Sometime My Guy call me Mr 13 or Mr 1313.

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you my path as a property consultant in the real estate industry. It all started way back in1997 when my renovation business fail due to the economic crisis. I decided to look for a sales job , so I flip through the papers and started calling.

I was only 30 years old then.

I remembered calling at least 10 company and guess what was the reply? Haha !!! I was told that they actually needed a younger sales person. Oh My God , I was only 30 years old then.

I was left with no choice as I was heavily in debt then and to make both ends meet I even went for an interview as a despatch rider.

Guess what again was the results? I was told by the HR manager that I am not suitable for the job as it's only a stepping stone for me till I find another job.

I was so distressed then, I thought that was the end of my career life.

I told my wife about what happen and she told me that since I always have a passion for building nice homes for people, why not join her , who is already 2 years in the Real Estate Industry , it's still a career some how related to homes. I thought it was a good idea but my biggest fear then was, we will not have a fixed income as we are commission base.

After some encouragement from my wife , I finally decided to take up the challenge. I made appointments with some Real Estate Agencies and went down for a discussion. I don't believe my luck , I never dreamt that I was turned down by most agencies because the new rules that was just implemented requires all Real Estate Agents to have at least a 3 'O' Level which I do not have. I was so disheartened then, I was really crying to GOD for help. Finally , I was told by my boss whom I joined him, told me that I am still on time to join this industries if I manage to sit in for the IEA course.

He really took the trouble to help me out, otherwise I will not be able to make it to what am I today.Another person that I will never forget, is the manager that my boss had arrange for me , he really hold my hands and teach me everything that I need to know about this industry and because of this , I told myself that if I ever be a manager , i will guide my people just like how I was being guided , so my friend if you are looking for a career in the real estate business , why don't you give me a call and allow me to guide you,
